Blog One

Being the clever person I'm not I thought I'd put myself to the challenge of posting a blog about my experiences of having type 1 diabetes in this fast-paced world and ever changing world. Yes, because people who aren't affected by diabetes. Really. Give. A. Shit. Hah!

While you might read about angst, melancholy and the latest bad hair fads in some blogs, I'm hoping you don't here*. Perhaps you're more of a pictures kind of person? Great, I'll try to figure out how to upload some. I must warn you: I'm terrible with technology. Oh, and paedophiles, murderers, do-it-yourself home renovators, perverts and Perez Hilton: you've obviously been misdirected if you've ended up here. Unless you're a diabetic too? (It would be wrong to say the world doesn't produce all-sorts. And who is to say a peeping-tom can't inject insulin while watching you iron you underpants? To say so is called d-i-s-c-r-i-m-i-n-a-t-i-o-n).

So... Welcome! I hope you enjoy perusing my reflections of my memories of events and my memories of reflections of events etc. as I wander (and wonder) through life as a diseased riddle on legs. In the true spirit of not knowing where to start, and until next time, I bid you,

                Adieu!
